PATCHS – Our New Online Consultation System
From October 1, 2025, NHS England GP contract changes require all GP practices to offer online consultation tools during core hours (8am – 6:30pm) for submitting a request for a non-urgent appointment, medication, and admin requests.
You can submit your request during our core opening hours and hopefully avoid the morning telephone queue. Please note, Patchs should not be used for urgent queries or an medical emergency. For an urgent medical request, please call the practice and speak with our medical receptionists on 01253 204188 or alternatively, speak to our medical receptionists at the reception desk in the Practice.
When you submit your request using Patchs, our medical receptionists will review your form. You might be asked to attend for a face to face appointment to get help with your health issue or we may be able to support you by email, text, telephone or video consultation.

You will be able to use a smartphone, tablet or computer to access Patchs.
If you have a smartphone, please download the NHS App if you haven’t already done so. If you need help setting up the NHS app, please contact the surgery and we will help you where we can.
Please note that our messaging service, PATCHs, has updated how notifications and text messages are delivered. Messages will now be sent via the NHS App. To continue receiving important updates and appointment reminders, please enable notifications within the NHS App settings.
